Last week, I realized the depth of the importance of nurturing my soul. I spent four spectacular days with my dear friend R and her family. The gifts I chose to receive were beyond anything I could have possibly imagined.
What did it take to nurture my soul? It was the laughter, tears, sharing, connection, walks on the beach, hugs, challenges, delicious healthy food, yoga, massage, jhin shin do, board games, quiet time, singing, dancing, music, long talks, smiles, shopping and most of all the sacred space for me to vulnerably be my true, authentic self.
What would nurturing your soul look like? The people who lost their lives in the recent earthquakes, tsunamis and cyclones, no longer have the opportunity to ask themselves that question. You have the gift of life, right here, right now, at this very moment, to begin nurturing your soul. The gift is priceless! How about starting right now! What are you willing to do, today, to nurture your soul? As the soft, round stone on my desk says, Carpe Diem!
